Botley Library

Welcome to Botley Library’s very own page on the Botley & North Hinksey Commuity website. On this page you’ll be able to find out a bit more about us and what we do in the library.

If you’re a regular visitor to the library you’ll already know that we do a lot more than just lend out books. Amongst other things you can borrow a film, use our computers for internet access, read newspapers and magazines or join in with one of our activities. If you haven’t visited since our refurbishment you’ll notice a few changes. Not only is everything arranged in a much better layout but we’ve also had two self-service machines installed to make the whole borrowing and returning process even quicker and easier.

You can find other information about us online on the County Council website and on the Services Directory page of this website.

Of course you really need to visit the library itself to take advantage of our services and we hope to see you there sometime soon!

Meet the Botley Library staff

We’re here to help you, so do come and ask us about anything to do with the library.

Activities in the library

Here are a few of the activities we’ll be running in the near future:

  • Tuesday 29 August 11-11.30am – Rhymetime- for children

Exhibitions & consultations in the library

Often there are exhibitions and information about consultations and surveys displayed in the library. These are usually connected to one of the local councils or another local organisation.

North Hinksey Parish Council currently have a questionnaire out asking about leisure facilities in the area. This questionnaire was circulated with their 2015 Newsletter and responses are required by 31st March.
